Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the Gavè mobile app (“Gavè”, “we”, “us”) collects, why, and your
choices. Gavè is operated by Lab80 Limited for the Gavè coffee shop. By using the app you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Account details — your name and email address when you sign in with Apple or Google, and a phone number if you sign in by phone. We also assign your account a unique user ID. Used to create and secure your account.
- Photos you choose — when you use the “fal” coffee-cup reading feature, the photo you take or select is sent for processing. We use it only to generate your reading; we do not use it to identify you.
- Loyalty activity — beans earned and redeemed, bookings, and purchases linked to your account, so we can run the rewards programme.
- Payment information — card payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card number; Stripe handles it under its own
privacy policy.
- Notifications — a device token if you enable push notifications, so we can send order and reward updates.
- Diagnostics — the app automatically sends crash and performance data (device model, OS and app version, error details) to Sentry so we can find and fix problems. This data is not linked to your identity. If you shake to report a bug, we also collect the report you submit plus basic device and app-version info.
How we use your information
- To provide the app: accounts, bookings, loyalty rewards, and payments.
- To deliver features you request, such as the fal reading and notifications.
- To diagnose problems and improve the app.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the
app — currently Supabase (secure backend and database), Stripe
(payments), Apple and Google (sign-in and notifications),
Sentry (crash and performance diagnostics), and our
AI provider used to generate fal readings — and where required by law.
Retention
We keep account and loyalty data while your account is active. Bug reports and diagnostics are kept
only as long as needed to resolve issues. You can delete your account and associated data at any time
directly in the app (Profile → Delete account), or by contacting us at the address below.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your
personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below.
Children
Gavè is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above.
